Societies Councils are your chance to join your fellow Society Leaders to chat to your VP Community and the Activities and Representation Team about what matters to you and your members!

You can join us in-person or on Teams, just make sure you sign up by grabbing a ticket!

What happens at a Societies Council? 

• Welcome from your VP Community

• The ART Team note attendance and any apologies for absences 

• Society leaders at the meeting approve the minutes of that last meeting

• We go through any updates to actions raised at the last meeting

• The ART Team give any operational updates (things like updates on room bookings or finance requests) 

• VP Community gives you and update on what they're working on

• Any topics for discussion are raised, like new policies or events, and votes are taken if required

• Society leaders are welcome to raise any questions, suggestions, or announcements
