You don't need to be an expert or be heavily involved with BCUSU, this is your chance to learn about how we operate and how we tackle student issues.

Whether you're a Rep, Society Member, have spoken to our Advice Team, bought a meal deal at our Campus Shops, or eaten at Eagle & Ball or The Social Kitchen - this meeting is for you!

BCUSU is run by a team of core staff and Officer Team (who are elected by you), dedicated to improving your academic experience, to give you a sense of belonging, and prepare you with key employability skills. Every year we host a meeting for you to make your voice count and understand how the organisation is run.

We encourage all students to attend in person, book your free ticket below, but for those who can't we will be streaming online (link below).

How does the meeting work? 

2pm - 3pm

  • Budget updates and what we spent last financial year

  • Business updates (from BCUSU Trustees) - what we did for students last academic year

  • Trustee panel - your chance to ask questions of our External, Student and Officer Trustees

3pm - 4pm

  • Meet your new Officer Team for 2025-26 and ask them questions about their plans for next year!

  • Let us know how YOU think we should spend our money to support students.

Enter our prize draws

Every student who attends (in person or online) can enter the prize draw to win a voucher of your choice: 1 x £250 voucher, 3 x £100 vouchers, 5 x £50 vouchers, 10 x £20 vouchers. 

To enter, you must vote on the minutes of our last meeting, and our affiliations for next year via MS Forms.
