BCU Voices, choir group singing at front of lecture room

Join this fun and friendly space for you to try out new musical skills, destress at the end of the day and improve your health and wellbeing.

BCU Beats and BCU Voices are two free, non-auditioned music sessions for all staff and students from across the University.

BCU Beats is a percussion and drumming group led by percussionist Mark ‘Magoo’ Robertson. The group learns, creates, and explores rhythms and grooves from around the world.

BCU Voices is led by experienced vocal leader Audrey Mattis, and members perform songs in a wide range of styles while also improving their singing and confidence.

Making music in a group has been shown to be great for mental health and wellbeing, as well as building confidence.
