You said it, we did it!

After several committee members gave us feedback that they'd like more chances to meet other society committee members', we went hunting for a way to make this happen online. So here we are, hosting a series of socials on Gather!

What is Gather?

Gather is a video-calling space that lets multiple people chat to each other, whilst still being able to move in and out of those conversations just as easily as you would in real life. We have created a digital building and outdoor space, full of games and social spaces for you to explore.

Book Your Free Place

There are a series of these events taking place, simply book onto the date and time that works best for you. Check the 'What's On' calendar to see the other upcoming dates.

Places are limited due to the capacity of Gather.

How to Join on the Day

Gather is accessed via your web browser and therefore works best from a desktop computer or laptop, if you would like to use the games and interactive elements. The games and interactive elements don't currently work on phones (it's a relatively new platform), but you will still be able to explore the map and talk to other committee members.

You will be able to join the social for however long you like within the hour slot you book onto. Once you have booked onto the event, you will receive an email nearer the day of the event to confirm the joining details along with a map for the online space.
