My name is Pravjoth, but you can call me Prav! I am 21 years old, and I am a final year Business Management Student here at BCU and I have taken up the Student Trustee role for the third academic year! My involvement with BCU started when I joined this university in September 2019, and I got involved with different societies at BCUSU. Through this, I have become President of Enactus BCU and the Mental Health Society! I have become a Student Trustee at BCUSU in my second year of my degree as it is an amazing opportunity for students to gain an insight into the democratic of BCUSU.

As I will be slowly ending my journey with BCU soon, I hope that my involvement with BCUSU through leading societies and providing a voice for our students from my role as a Trustee will enhance BCU students as they go through the up and downs of transitioning into university. It also creates a sense of belonging for students and creates diversity and inclusion as well. I am excited for the upcoming academic year and creating positivity here at your BCUSU!

I have been a student trustee since 2020 and am now about to start my third year as a trustee, loving every moment of being in this position and being able to be the main voice for students when attending trustee board meetings and subcommittee meetings, being a part of this team has given me the power to approve or disapprove of what happens around the university. During my free time, I love gaming and have recently started playing multiplayer, but most of all I enjoy spending time with my little hedgehogs dexter and Padfoot and seeing my friends.

During my time at university, I had the opportunity to undertake the Bseen Bootcamp, which allowed to build my own business (Sloth-Quest limited), while undergoing this training I was given the opportunity to take part in the steam house hatchery programme, which allowed me to work alongside some other entrepreneurship like-minded students during this programme it helped me build my confidence stills through business planning and pitching, where am I now on my business.

I am currently a part of the SteamHouse create programme and currently working closely with Harry Conway (VR technician) Joseph Margetts (enterprise manager) and the rest of the steam house and Bseen team. During my time as a student trustee, I want to make a positive impact for my fellow students, I want to allow time to work with you guys to make sure all student voices are heard during the trustee board meetings.
