Our goal is to provide a platform for international students to collaborate and explore one another cultures. Each year we will have Vice-Presidential spaces for International Students of different continents (Vice President Africa, Vice President Asia, and Vice President Europe) to be part of the committee. We have collaborated on socials run by all types of faith and cultural societies.
We host socials that are for all International Students, whatever your country of origin! We've shown international students what Birmingham has to offer, from the world-famous food market Digbeth Dining Club to hosting welcome events on campus, Chinese New Year Celebration with movie night! Get in touch with us and join us at our community.
Our Society is a Protected Society, which means we never close down, are free to join, and are funded by the Students' Union for our events and activities.
This is because we represent a section of Birmingham City University that your Students' Union recognises as important to engage.
As a member, you'll be included in the random sample to attend the Student Advisory Panel - voting on the ideas of students from across BCU.
Our Society is a Liberation Society, which means we never close down, are free to join and are funded by your Students' Union for our events and activities.
This is because we represent a key demographic of Birmingham City University, and are recognised by the National Union of Students as part of their Liberation Campaign.
This society is holding online elections to choose their new committee for the 2024-25 academic year. Any paid member can apply for a committee position that interests them and all paid members will also be able to vote for their preferred candidates.
