About Black Studies

This Academic Society is looking for new owners!

Academic Societies are a great way to further your learning and create new communities on campus. Aligned to a specific school or course, they exist to give students access to things like trips, study groups aned guest speakers.

They're also a way to arrange social activities and meet new people - but they need a committee to run them!

If you're studying on the course this society represents and are happy to work with us to run the group day to day, we'd love to hear from you! We're here to support you and to make sure your time in charge is as stress-free as possible; and it's a great thing to add to your CV to boost your employability after University.

If you'd like to take the plunge, send an email to societies@bcu.ac.uk and let us know which society you're interested in bringing back to life!
