Becoming a Faculty Rep
Acting as a link between the Student Reps, the University and the Students’ Union, Faculty Reps are there to make sure that students are able to have their voices heard at all levels of the University. By attending faculty level meetings, they directly influence the way the University does things. They also get paid up to £500 each year!

Faculty Reps are recruited in the Autumn, but you can register your interest in becoming a Faculty Rep right now, to make sure you get all the details about how to apply once we open recruitment.
In a nutshell, we are looking for students who are good communicators, with a positive approach to solving problems and the ability to quickly understand and evaluate new ideas. Previous experience on a committee or attending formal meetings, for instance as a Course Rep, is useful but not essential.
In return, you'll receive full training to equip you to succeed in the role, gain really useful experience to put on your CV and you'll get paid up to £500 over the course of the year.
