If you have an idea for improving the University or the Union, you can submit it to Student Council or a General Meeting. If the meeting votes to support it then the Union has to make it happen! You can submit an idea about anything you like using the form below.

Examples of Previous Ideas

Council voted to support all these ideas and the Union had to carry them out:

  •     Organise an Inter-Faith Week every year
  •     Inter-Faith Week has run for the past 2 years and brings students of different faiths together for socialising and discussion.
  •  
  •     Campaign for free Wednesday afternoons for students
  •     The Union ran a successful campaign to get Wednesdays free for students to do activities and volunteering.
  •  
  •     Run an annual Alumni Weekend
  •     The weekend gives ex-BCU students a chance to come back and see the uni. The first one took place in 2011.
