The Union's Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a chance for members to review the Union's work over the past year and to talk about how things can improve in future.

There are also some formal tasks like receiving the directors' report and approving the annual financial statements that the Union is legally obliged to carry out, and there are also some more exciting debates about how the Union can move forward!

Any student can submit an idea for improving the Union, the University or the world in general! If you have an idea you think should be discussed at the AGM, email Elgan Hughes (union.engagement@bcu.ac.uk).

What happened last time?

AGM 2011

The last AGM took place in May. Formal actions like receiving the directors' report and approving the organisations the Union is affliliated to were completed, and there was also a discussion about how the Union can engage better with smaller campuses.
