About The BCU Poker Team

Welcome to the BCU Poker Society

 
The fastest growing groups in the Student Union. We play Texas Hold ‘Em tournaments in Bar 42 from 1pm onWednesdays, usually with a £5 buy-in.
 
For the past 2 years we have won Society of the year and plan to make it a Third year in a row!!
 
This year will see the inaugural BCUSOP (Birmingham City University Series Of Poker) which will run during Freshers’ Week and will have freerolls sponsored by Pokerstars and also a £10 single rebuy Main Event.
 
Last year we gave away £3000 in prize money and hosted two Inter-University Tournaments, so whether you’re a beginner or World Series winner, come down and have some fun!!
 
Membership for BCU students is £5.
