Why did you become an Exec?: To meet new people and try and improve the Students' Union presence in the Conservatoire!
What are your goals for the year?: I'd like to get the Conservatoire more involved in SU activities and to increase communication between students in different faculties so people can collaborate on projects more easily - there's so much potential that's barely taken advantage of!
Best memory at Uni so far?: So many to choose from! I play in the Conservatoire Folk Ensemble and have had the time of my life playing gigs with the band .
What’s you number 1 top tip for students?: Talk to lots of people and get involved with as much as you can - you may surprise yourself!
Describe yourself in three words: Slightly mental musician...
Favourite hobbies?: Playing violin in various bands here and there, watching films, cooking and spending time with my friends
Favourite food?: My Mum's shepherds pie!!
Favourite band/ artist:....will probably have changed by the time this goes up on the website! I like too many different things to name!
Favourite movie?: Far too many to name, but I watched The Red Violin recently (music geek alert!) which was fantastic. On the other end of the spectrum, I love the Shrek films - the last one was amazing!
If you were an animal what would you be and why?: A giraffe - then I can be tall for once!
If you were a vegetable, what would you be and why?: I can honestly say I've been thinking about this for ten minutes and STILL have no idea! Maybe it's safest to go with none - I don't want to be eaten!
If you were a superhero, what would be your superpower?: The ability to teleport (or apparate, if you prefer!) - think of the money I could save on travel!
PC or Mac?: Mac all the way!
Team Edward or Team Jacob?: Jacob - vampires shouldn't sparkle. It's just wrong!
