Students taking over!
NUS Town Takeover, 3rd–4th December  In a few days students will be taking over Birmingham! The government is planning to increase university fees, and students’ unions across the city are joining forces to say NO! Join the afternoon demonstration in the city centre and then make your voice heard at the Town Hall meeting in the evening.

Extenuating Circumstances 
Have you had problems that have interfered with your studies?  If so, and you need to defer an assessment or more time to hand in coursework, you can make a claim under the new Extenuating Circumstances Procedure.  But be aware, claims now need to be made in advance of the deadline.
