What’s involved?
 
SCRatch is the Students’ Union community radio station and broadcasts at various times throughout the year.
 
Volunteer Role: Publicity/News & Sport/What’s On/ Music/ Internet/Technical
 
Where: Student Union Building, Perry Barr
 
What: Volunteer roles at a student and community based radio station. Broadcasting since 2003 SCRatch Radio is run and staffed by members of the local community and students from Birmingham City University.
 
Volunteer Role: Production
 
Where: Student Union Building, City North
 
What: With the supervision of the head of production volunteers are required to make jingles, beds, idents, programme intros and adverts. Volunteers will be trained to industry standard in Adobe Audition.
 
Volunteer Role: Presenter
 
Where: Student Union Building, City North
 
What: Both daytime play-list presenters and specialist musical interest DJs are needed for our community and student run radio station.
