LGBTQ+ Society

At BCUSU LGBTQ+ Society, we host socials, meetings and events for all LGBTQ+ students and allies at BCU.

We provide a safe space to meet other people, raise awareness of LGBTQ+ rights and campaign on issues affecting us. If there is something affecting your time at University - we want to know!

LGBTQ+ History Month

Every February, we work with the university and Students' Union to plan a month of fantastic and informative events to commemorate LGBTQ+ History Month. We also take a yearly trip to National Student Pride in London every February!

We hold events across the year so check out the What's On page for more information - keep your eyes peeled for 2026!

We are a Liberation Society.

BCUSU's Liberation Societies are student groups who represent either an NUS-defined liberation characteristic, or something which aligns to the values of the Union.
