Societies exist as a way to form community, arrange social activities and meet new people - but they need a committee to run them.
If this Society interests you, we'd love to hear from you! We're here to support you and to make sure your time in charge is as stress-free as possible; and it's a great thing to add to your CV to boost your employability after University.
If you'd like to take the plunge, send an email to societies@bcu.ac.uk and let us know which society you're interested in bringing back to life!
The Birmingham City Economics Society is a proud, exciting and intriguing socitey which seeks to provide a platform for all students to engage in debates, discussions, career advice and general revision help. Don't worry if you have never done economics or debates before, this is a space for open-mindedness and a place for thoughts and views that are often overlooked by society.
We host weekly session every Tuesday for 1 hour from 2-3pm in the libary. The membership cost is only £3!!!!
