BCU Gaming is the place for you if:

1. You have a passion for video games and culture

4. You’re a bit anxious with university at large, and want to cosy up to a group of gamers
5. Are interested in regular gaming meetups, both online and in person

Our focus

As leaders of BCU Gaming, we dedicate our time and resources to uphold these four values:

• Keeping BCU Gaming a friendly place for casual and competitive gamers alike. 
• Working to improve the health of the competitive scene and representation at the University.
• Making sure that everybody feels comfortable in our society with a no harassment tolerance policy
• Offering our members the most we possibly can to make sure their membership and support do not go unnoticed.

We offer the best spaces for our members to play games, we have consoles with extensive libraries of games available on request as well as access multiple projectors so you can bring your own systems. As well as being an Esport society, we also consist of console gamers too we do have an emphasis on inclusion so local multiplayer games such as super smash bros, Mario Kart, Tekken and Mario party will be on the forefront. We also have our dedicated Discord server for our society: a platform for members to socialise and play together! Our Discord server is also the main base of operations, here we will organise and discuss events whether it be online or in person.

Whether you enjoy Competitive shooters, strategy games, fighters, or even if you’re a casual multiplayer party games enjoyer, PC or console, we can guarantee you'll enjoy your time here! We appeal to players across all levels of skills, interests and genres, casual and competitive gamers alike.

Our membership is £10 for the full academic year, which will grant you access to our exclusive member events such as our weekly in person meets and tournaments (which have some epic and unmissable prizes) as well as the opportunity to represent our university in esports competitions!
