As an academic society, we focus on equipping students with industry-relevant cybersecurity skills and hands-on experience alongside their degrees. We offer a space for you to get involved with projects, specialist roles, fun challenges, and a community focused on teaching the right skills and tools needed for you to land an internship, placement or job. We’re not experts — we’re students, just like you. We believe that free and accessible extracurricular opportunities can add real value to your degree while helping you build meaningful, lasting friendships along the way.

FAQ
What type of ‘industry-relevant skills’ will you help provide?
For SOC analysts, we offer opportunities and guidance with SIEM Tools, scripting, skills in threat intelligence, network monitoring, etc. Mostly in the form of courses as well as projects.
Can I still join if I'm a postgraduate or international student?
Yes. Our discord is independent from the university; although we will verify your BCU status to check whether you are student or have studied at BCU before.
