Malayalee society aims to provide an environment for students from various religions, backgrounds and geographical locations; all united by one thing – their Malayalee heritage. Being a Malayalee means more than just sharing one language; it represents a rich culture which this we aim to embrace and develop. We hope that this society provides a platform for malayalee students to find each other and participate in the various aspects of our culture together.

BCU Malayalee society hosts various events such as movie nights and socials as well as working together with the Aston and UoB Malayalee societies to broaden the capabilities of the events we put on for our members. One of the main events being our UK wide student charity ball for Malayalee students; Kilukam.

Although we aim this society towards Malayalee students, we welcome students from all ethnicities who would like to get involved in our culture and learn about a different part of the world.
