Who are we?

Polygon started life as the student magazine for Birmingham Polytechnic in the late 80s. When we were granted University status, the magazine was rebranded as Spaghetti Junction and then The Scratch.

As we move into a new era for BCU, Polygon is back - the student-led blog and magazine, seen by thousands of students from all BCU campuses as well as the wider community around the region. Whether you like technology or music, or an interest in health or sport, Polygon has something for everyone.

If you've got something to contribute, you can get involved in writing, designing, proof-reading and promotion. Find out how, below!

Getting involved with Scratch Media?

Scratch TV is part of the Scratch Media family. You can take advantage of the opportunities with Scratch TV and Scratch Radio as well, doing as little or as much as you'd like. Just head to their pages on the SU website for more information!
