Q. Are you looking to get a little bit more crafty?

Then welcome to Crafty Bitches!

About Us

We know that uni can be stressful sometimes - and even more so with the uncertainty these past couple of years. Crafty Bitches are a relaxed, friendly society that meet once a week to learn some crafts and chill out.

We are, always have been and always will be a place where anyone can come, take a little time out of their week to do something therapeutic and fun with a bunch of great people. It’s a safe space to forget your worries and stresses and take some time to focus on doing something you will enjoy and by the end of each session you accomplish something new.

You learn new skills that are for your own enjoyment and may even find a new hobby. We do lots of varied crafts from knitting and crochet to origami and embroidery and much more.

We are always on the lookout for more crafts to try, so if you have anything you’ve been dying to try, let us know!

Previous projects have included Innocent Smoothie hats for the big knit, love hearts, decoupage, glitter jars, embroidery and fish in jars. A couple of years ago we did a campus-wide yarn bomb and are always looking for more fun projects to get stuck in with; big or small.

We have had regular socials, and this year we will find a safe way to have some fun events for everyone to get involved with!

>> We meet every Tuesday from 6:00pm 'til 7:30pm in the Social Learning Space, located on the third floor of Millennium Point/Parkside Building. We hope to see you there! <<

You can join the society at any time in the academic year, and all annual memberships will expire on 31st August.
