Details

We are looking for an Activities and Representation Coordinator to join our team, based at our City Centre & City South Campuses. The Activities and Representation Coordinator is responsible for developing, supporting and working with some of our most engaged students including society leaders and student representatives. You will be joining at time when we are preparing for our Welcome Week and this will be the main area of focus for the temporary role.  

Working as part of the Activities and Representation team you will be planning engaging events, encouraging society memberships and helping to support students as they start or return to University for the new academic year.  Our preferred candidate will have experience of supporting or facilitating the work of students or volunteers but the key attributes required are the ability to work well within a team, have good time management and be confident in approaching and engaging with students.

Principle purpose of job

  • Delivery of agile managed projects to increase student participation in engagement activities
  • Develop Student Leadership, Activism, Student Group Development and Academic Representation    
  • Administration support in the delivery of projects
