This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and diverse organisation as an Executive Assistant. We are looking for a conscientious, resourceful and highly organised individual to join our team who can provide high-level professional assistance to the Chief Executive, SMT and Trustees of BCUSU. You should be a strong communicator, both written and verbal and will have good IT skills including excellent typing skills and use of Microsoft Office programs. This role could suit an experienced administrative professional or an ambitious graduate.
The Role:
You will report to the Chief Executive and be responsible for keeping records, taking meeting minutes and supporting the regular business of the SMT, Trustee Board and Subcommittees. You’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries to the Chief Executive. The role involves a high degree of organisation, diary management, report writing and excellent customer service. The successful applicant will have the ability to manage multiple work streams and will be able to demonstrate a flexible and enthusiastic approach to their work.
Contracted Hours:
35hrs per week – applications for reduced hours (paid pro-rata) or a flexible working pattern will be considered, however a minimum of 4 days will be required as well as the ability to attend the occasional breakfast or early evening meeting.
