Are you passionate about ensuring all students feel comfortable and welcomed into university life? If so, we have just the job for you!

BCUSU welcomes new students through a variety of events and activities, most of which are supported by a team of over 50 student volunteers. This team of volunteers are known as the Welcome Team. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and approachable individual who can help to motivate and organise this diverse team across all BCU campuses.

We are looking for the successful applicant to start their role in the week commencing Monday 2nd September and finishing the role by Friday 4th October. The shifts will be flexible throughout this time, with the majority of shifts allocated between Monday 9th – Sunday 22nd September.

The Welcome Team Supervisor will be supported by one of our Student Group Coordinators within the Societies, Sports & Volunteering team at BCUSU.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain and facilitate multiple activities, a passion to be organised and a willingness to work with student volunteers.

 

Person Specification:

Salary: £11.34 per hour
