Birmingham City University Students’ Union exists to enhance our Students’ experiences and have a positive impact on their lives. We have over 24,000 members studying at campuses around Birmingham.

We are looking for two voluntary Student Trustees in their first or second year of study, to lead the organisation into a new era.  Following years of stable growth, we now have a strategic plan in place to ensure we pursue new ways of engaging our members which can be found here   We are a registered charity and are continuing to enhance our commercial independency to guarantee positive experiences for students. In addition, we have by-laws to make our governance and democratic structure more accessible and appealing to members.

Ideally our student trustees will be current students, who are able to express themselves confidently and voice other students' opinions, while drawing from their own personal experience.

Your personal drive and passion will ensure you support our core functions and meet our members’ expectations.  You will be able to support the Internal Directors and staff team in delivering innovative projects in our exciting and ambitious organisation.
