Submitting your request

All societies within BCUSU are self-funding; that means they generate the money they need to operate through a mixture of membership income and fundraising.

The Activities & Representation Team also administer a pot of money to help groups who are new, or who need a bit of extra support to hold an event that benefits a large numbers of students.

To be able to apply for additional funding, the committee should complete the form linked below.

Before we will consider your application, each member of your committee should have completed all required paperwork and training. 

Following submission, all requests go to a panel for a decision and, as such, responses won't be immediate. Requests which miss the deadline for the panel will be heard at the following meeting so last minute requests aren't advisable.

Budget Spreadsheet

Whilst a budget spreadsheet isn't required, it may help to support your request.

If you have money in your fundraising account, it will allow the panel to see what other expenditure you expect to have over the coming year and what fundraising activity you have planned and been involved in.
