Bournville Student Voice

Students at Bournville are still unhappy with the closure of the canteen and they would like to have a common room. They also asked if it would be possible for lockers to be provided, as they were unhappy at having to carry everything they needed to and from campus every day.

The Union will pass on these concerns to the Faculty; the lack of canteen and common room is probably beyond our control but we will try and push the Faculty to provide lockers for students if possible.

The Union displays posters promoting activities and events at Bournville. We also post on several Bournville student Facebook groups. We will ensure that we continue to work on these areas and aim to increase awareness of the Union and what it offers. We will also continue to regularly visit the campus and gather the views of students there.

Students would like to see transport provided between campuses.
We listened....
This is something the Union can discuss with the University; however, it is not something that the Union can currently provide. We would encourage students to make use of the existing bus network.
