FRESHERS FAIR
The biggest student event of the year!
Wednesday 21st September 2011. 10am – 4pm. City North Campus: The Doug Ellis Sports Centre & Lounge North, Union Building & Baker Hall.
Come along to join Sports, Societies, Volunteering & Media Groups, enjoy Fun Fair stalls and pick up lots of freebies. You’ll also find out about the services your Union, the University & what Birmingham has to offer.
*NEW* We’ve teamed up with the University’s Student Services to incorporate a Part-Time & Volunteering Fair in our Freshers Fair '11, so make sure you also visit Baker Hall to find out about employability opportunities.

The first 2,500 students visiting the Birmingham City Student Homes stall in the Union Zone can pick up a ‘Free Food Card’ to earn a free burger or candy floss at the Fun Fair area!*
Important Notes:
- BRING YOUR STUDENT ID – You’ll need it to join student groups.
- If you need cash at the fair (to join student groups or get a drink), there are two cash points at the main entrance of the Union Building. Card payments also accepted.
While at the Fun Fair part, why not pop in the Union Building to check out our brand new facilities! The University invested over £500k so you can enjoy:
Lounge North – a brand new space to eat, drink, play
Lounge Suite – book it for meetings with course mates
Refurbished toilets on Levels one and two
*All you need to do is pick a sticker up from each of the stalls on the Free Food Card and redeem it for a FREE Burger or Candy Floss at the Fun Fair part – while stocks last.
FREE COACHES will be available to catch from campuses.
Tip: Traffic and parking will be a real issue on this day, so why not use our free coaches or public transport instead of driving in.
