Do I need a wristband to get into Freshers events?
No you don’t; you can still attend Freshers events without a wristband, but entry fees as stated will apply. The Freshers wristband will get you entry in our Big 5 night-time events, it will save you 20% in total entry fees and allow you to queue jump at most events.
Where can I buy a wristband?
Simply Log In to the Students’ Union website (www.bcusu.com), click on the 'buy wristband' button on the Freshers Mini Site home page and follow the steps to order your wristband.
You can also buy wristbands from Freshers Crew and Union Outlets during the welcome weekend (subject to availability).

You specify your preferred collection point at the time of purchasing your wristband; these are Lounge North (City North Campus), Lounge South (City South Campus), Village Inn (Hamstead Campus), Art Shop (Gosta Green) or The Welcome Party (Tower Ballroom).

What happens if I lose my wristband?
Wristbands are your ticket into all Freshers’ Events so should be treated like cash – if you lose your wristband, it will not be replaced so we advise you wear it as soon as you receive it. Your wristband will be put onto your wrist when you collect it and should not be removed for the duration of Freshers.
I have a wristband, so do I need a t-shirt for Big Squeeze?
