We Asked Elgan...

  1. If you had the chance to go back in time for 24 hours, where and when would you go?

I would go back to my first day of University, It was one of my best days at uni, so many memories. But I was such a shy quite person in my first day, I would like to see how I would handle that day, being the person I am today.

  2. If you could be a superhero, what would you want your superpowers to be?

Being in control of time. Time travel, stop and slow down time, change history and change outcomes of tasks.

  3. You have the choice to live with a gorilla who knows sign language or a dog who sings lullabies, which do you choose?

The festive season is upon us. Where has the year gone?

The last few week has seen student working hard towards there deadline before the Christmas term ends. Hopefully you’re all going home and spending time with your loved ones before returning in the New Year fresh and ready to hit 2012 with all you’ve got.

On my agenda before the Christmas Holiday has been to establish Campus Councils at each Campus. I have sat down with Faculty Reps, Course and Senior Course Reps, and Deans from different Campuses to see what specific needs each Campus has and what can be gained from a Campus Council. I have many palimony dates for these but will keep people posted in the New Year. So watch this Space…

I want to thank you to all the Students that I have talked to and engaged with in the last 4 months, be it in a meeting, casual passing in the corridors, or even on a Barr Crawl up Broad Street, it’s because of your views, passions and needs what makes this job so rewarding and worthwhile.

So here you go last joke from me in 2011, hopefully the ones in the Crackers will be better.

I went to the Wardrobe this morning and saw a Lion and a Witch in there, I said “what are you doing in there?” they said “Narnia Business”
