Fees Announcement
Vice Chancellor announces fees 
Professor David Tidmarsh announced variable fee rates for courses across the University based on individual course running costs. These range from £6,000 for foundation degrees to £9,000 for specialist courses such as those at Birmingham Conservatoire. Read the University's fee statement here. 

 


A Greener Union
For the second year running we have been awarded Bronze in the National Union of Students (NUS) Green Impact Environmental Award scheme.
The awards seek to capture the positive green innovations in students’ unions and promote them to the general public. Next year we are hoping to bag a Silver.
 


The Graduation Ball
Two weeks to go!
It’s nearly time for you to go out in style as The Graduation Ball is only two weeks away. Sunday 22nd May is the deadline to pay off your deposit balance, as well purchasing the final few tickets.

Final Student Council Meeting 
All students welcome!
The final Student Council meeting will include the election for Faculty Board Reps and any other issue you think needs dealing with! Come along on Tuesday 31st May at Kenrick Lecture Theatre, City North Campus at 5.30pm. Find out more on Student Council. 

 

NUS Conference
New NUS President elected!
The NUS National Conference 2011 took place in Newcastle in April. Students from across the country discussed how NUS should move forward in the year ahead. The debate was wide ranging and ended with the election of new officers, including the new NUS President Liam Burns. Read the NUS Conference review.

   



Beware of drink spiking
Keep an eye on your drink
When you're out having a good time make sure someone else doesn’t ruin your fun. Drink spiking is a serious crime and is unfortunately becoming more common. For tips on staying safe and advice on getting help if you think your drink has been spiked click here.
